“From my first visit everyone has always been so helpful and willing to go out of their way to show me and help me improve. Over the years I have grown to love training here and if you want to learn in an environment where it all about seeing you succeed in the BJJ journey this is the place for you!!”

“Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu had been goal of mine for nearly 15 years but due injury, weight gain and just general lack of motivation I had given up on the idea. Last fall I decided that I wanted my sons to learn some self-defense and to learn a new sport. Due to the amazing coaching, culture and boost in confidence I saw my boys experience I decided to take the plunge and join the best BJJ gym in Saskatchewan. The coaches are amazing, always taking the time to ensure every member gets attention and personal techniques. I am now hooked on BJJ for life”
KIDS CLASSES (Ages 4-14)
Why are we Regina’s BEST choice for martial arts programs in the city?
-
We care about excellence and believe in quality over quantity. Class size is limited so all students receive attention and a supreme experience.
Our students do not sit on a wall waiting to participate or fall behind their fellow classmates. -
We provide more coaches per student than any other kids martial art program in Regina.
-
We don’t believe in teaching young children how to break arms or choke in a military school atmosphere, nor have our classes function like a birthday party.
Our classes are sensibly structured to help build character, self confidence, discipline and compassion. We believe classes should be structured, authentic, but most importantly fun so everyone looks forward to attending. -
Our aim is to help children discover the best in themselves through individualized goals and intuitive approaches to teaching them. While entering tournaments may be the right thing for the right student, competition does not guide the direction of our program.
-
Teacher John has a masterful understanding of the most effective way to teach all ages, and is regarded as one of the best teachers in Saskatchewan.
All of our assistant coaches were selected by being good humans first and are held to a high standard.
Many of our classes are currently full for the school year, however we are starting New Beginner Classes in September.

After class, students are welcome to stay an additional 45-60 minutes to continue free sparring. -

What is Jiu Jitsu?
An outlet to burn excess thoughts, sharpen the mind and body and be nourished by an environment of goal orientated individuals. It is an ever-evolving, practical form of self-defense and stress relief.
A game of human chess, that is both intellectually simulating and great exercise. A contest, a sport, and an art, uniquely created by the individual practicing it.
Group sparring that took place after belt promotion night in 2022
“You don't need to be fit to start. You don't need any experience. You just need to show up and the rest will happen naturally on it’s own”

Bio
I started martial arts in 2005 to compete in MMA, and like many, eventually placed my focus solely on Jiu-Jitsu. In time I exceeded what was possible for me in Regina, and traveled regularly to train with Jason Gagnon; an active competitor making waves in competitions throughout the world. My exposure to him and his team brought my desire and understanding of Jiu-Jitsu to the next level. Those years of travel and sacrifice taught me that greatness in this art requires an understanding of the truth — what really works and why, above all else — a lesson that quietly shaped everything I would go on to build.
In 2015 I started the process of opening a facility to provide Regina the program and environment I wish existed here at home. As I continued to travel the world training with champions and stand out athletes, I brought those experiences back home to help our students.
To grow up as a kid in the prairies and receive my black belt from Jason alongside a legend like Cobrinha was a dream come true. That moment represented not just a personal milestone, but an understanding that world-class Jiu-Jitsu is possible anywhere — even on the Canadian prairies — if you're willing to pursue it. It deepened my conviction that Regina deserves a gym where students are taken seriously and given every opportunity to experience the ultimate in themselves.
My focus is solely on the student experience and teaching. I believe in selfless service, being simple, authentic and honest, and getting out of the way so all students have the unbound freedom to enjoy their own journey of discovery in the brilliant art and science of Jiu Jitsu.
